World Book Day 2023

📚We had a fantastic World Book Day last week, when all of our pupils got thoroughly involved in dressing up, reading challenges and even decorating wooden spoons! A good time was had by all and we appreciate the effort that families went to, to ensure that the children were able to participate - thank you! 📚 At school, a love of reading was celebrated throughout the day with fun activities, challenges and a special assembly, led by Miss Smith, when prizes of books and treats were awarded to our competition winners. Congratulations to our wooden spoon winners Faye (for her giraffe) and Becki (for her Alien) and also to our fabulous runners up Alfie (for the BFG), Ava (for her butterfly) and Henry (for Rupert the Bear). It was so hard to choose the winners because all of the entries were fabulous. In fact, they were all so fabulous that we have displayed them throughout the school 👍. Also, well done to Hetty whose name was picked out of a hat for completing her '20 Day Reading Challenge'. All of the book prizes were generously donated by Coventry City FC in the Community and our brilliant PTA. Thank you from us all! ⭐📚⭐
