Mount Nod Primary School is a friendly, welcoming school set in a green, residential area of the city. At Mount Nod we believe in giving all our pupils the very best start in life by laying the foundations needed to have a successful, happy future. This is reflected in our school Motto, Ad Vitam Paramus - Preparing for Life. 

We are fortunate to have playing fields, large playgrounds and other outdoor spaces to enjoy including woodlands, a nature area, a scrambling wall, tyre parks, outdoor theatre stages and quiet zones. 

We believe in setting high standards and expectations in both academic work and behaviour. Our staff, parents and children work together to ensure that the school provides a bright, safe and interesting learning environment.

The culture of this school is one of high expectations and continuous improvement. Leaders have continued to improve teaching, the curriculum and the physical environment of the school since the previous inspection.
