We try to ensure communication between home and school is as good as it possibly can be.

To this end we send out a weekly newsletter that covers news, important information and diary dates.

We also use a text messaging service to provide current information and reminders.

Expressing Your Views

Your views are important to us and we are always keen to hear your questions and comments.

Speak with the class teacher

Parents’ evenings are held termly but it is often more effective if informal meetings are arranged with the class teacher.

These meetings can be arranged via the school office and should ensure that issues can be dealt with swiftly.

Put your views in writing

Every year we send out a Parental Questionnaire which surveys your thoughts about how well the school is doing and enables you to express your views.

However, if you have some feedback, don’t wait for the questionnaire. You could send us an email or write a short note and drop it into the office or via your child’s teacher.

Complaints

Complaints are rare at Mount Nod School.

We have an open culture and the headteacher and staff are readily available to have a chat in order to deal with issues promptly. However, if a parent feels they need to make a formal complaint there is a procedure that is available from the school office or by clicking the link here.
